Hello Dahlings!

Still on movies. =)

I wanted to share with you this movie that was released in 2007 called August Rush.

It's a heart-warming story about a boy, who grew up in an orphanage, believing that his parents are still alive. The movie is about the boy's search for his parents and their love story as well. The movie also tells about once's love and passion for music.

If you like romance and music, you will love this movie like I did. =)

This is the first movie that ever gave me goose bumps - FOR REAL!

Falling Slowly

Hello Dahlings!!!

The first time I heard the song Falling Slowly was from So You Think You Can Dance Season 5. Stacey Tookie, who was orginally a choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance Canada, created a beautiful Contemporary Number for Karla Garcia and Jonathan Platero.

Here is a video of that routine:

I remember raving about this song for a while at Facebook. Then, someone told me that this song was actually from a movie called "Once". I don't know what happened but I kept forgetting looking this movie up. Then two days ago, while I was spending days over at my friend's house, she suggested that we watch this really nice movie. She was referring to "Once".

"Once" is the story of two musicians whose love for music brought them closer together. I will be talking more about this movie at a later blog.

I will however, post a video of Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, performing the song at the David Letterman Show :

Meanwhile, here is a music video of the song by Glen's band, The Frames:

This song just has beautiful written all over it. Whether expressed through dancing, singing, or used as a musical score for a movie.

It is no wonder that Falling Slowly won an Academy for Best Original Song.

What do you guys think? =)
