30 Day Challenge
Sunday, January 29, 2012
Hello Dahlings!
I know this is old stuff already, but I just thought it would be fun to do it. Plus I didn't say nor promised that I will do it religiously right? Haha...
Happy New Year, foxes! I do realize that I am a little too late for that too but it's still the first month of the year so 2012 still feels brand spanking new if you ask me (excuses, excuses...).
Anyway, I am excited (when was I never?hahaha..) over so many things. I have a lot of things I want to get and do that makes me wanna push a paper request to the universe to extend a day to 36 hours since 24 hours in a day just isn't enough.
I hope this 2012, I get to write more blogs and post more video blogs which I haven't done in a while. My Youtube channel (www.youtube.com/foxyzombie) seems like an online fossil since I haven't posted any new material lately. I have been actively micro-blogging though through my Tumblr (www.foxyzombie.tumblr.com).
Let's see if I can keep up with this challenge.

Karlie Kloss for the Victoria's Secret Aquatic Collection
Karlie Kloss may be the "newbie angel" from the Victoria's Secret 2011 Fashion Show but for me, her pose for the Aquatic Collection was just the fiercest pose of them all!
Check out that hip bump she did at the end.=)

Halloween 2011
Saturday, November 5, 2011
Hello Dahlings!
I know I haven't been blogging religously as I have promised over and over in the past. And I just thought sharing with you my Halloween experience is a great way to jumpstart everything. =)
Last October 28, we had our Halloween celebration at the office. A number of my colleagues committed and really went all out dressing up as whoever. Hahaha...
I came in as Sailor Moon. But since Sailor Moon is normally used during Halloweens, I wanted to give her a little twist by coming in as a beat-up, misbehaving Sailor Moon.

This is my most behaved photo that night. Hahaha... I love how the bruise looks so real, right?
Some of us actually felt like it was COSPLAY or COMICON night with the costumes we came in as! Hahaha...

The guy on the left, Isko, won best costume. He was portraying "The Jackal" from the movie "13th Ghosts".

Which would be this dude, if you don't have a clue. =P
Image taken from the web.
Since I didn't have work that night (I just went to the office for the celebration), I thought that my costume would be such a waste if I just went home. So I decided to go clubbing with my friend, Colleen, after our little celebration at work. I will share photos from my clubbing experience at a later post.=)
Meanwhile, before I finally decided to take a hike from the office, I decided that Sailor Moon needed just one more shot.

Please don't judge me. We were just having fun.=D
How about you? How was your Halloween? Tell me about!

Busy Little Bee
Saturday, August 6, 2011
Hello Dahlings!
I know I've said this quite a few times but again, I am sorry for not blogging . It's basically both out of being lazy and busy. Just to give you an idea, I am back working for the BPO industry but this time instead of being a Project Trainer, I manage a team of agents who provide support for Web Hosting. So yeah, from a healthcare provider company, I am now a bad ass webmaster who handle scripting issues for websites - or so I choose to believe. Hahaha...
So anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I do realize that I am [AGAIN] falling short on my promise to blog religiously. In fact, this will continue to happen for a few more weeks or months but I will try my best to blog as much as I should. And that's because ILY!!!♥
Don't worry. You're not really missing much. My life's been a bore lately. Hahaha...

Alex Wong - So You Think You Can Dance
Monday, March 28, 2011
Hello Dahlings!!!
As some of you may already know, I am a huge, HUGE fan of So You Think You Can Dance. This is evident from the several blogs I posted about my favorite routines from the show. Summer is almost here, so that means Season 8 is right around the corner. I think it will premiere May 26th. I am so excited!=) But before we get excited for the next season, let's revisit Season 7 so you can understand why there's so much anticipation coming from me.
I was very heartbroken when Alex Wong had to leave the show due to an injury. When he did not perform during the Top 8 , I thought he was just going to be sidelined for that episode and was hoping that his MRI results would come out ok. Turns out his Achilles Tendon lacerated. That meant for him to have a surgery and rest for 3 months. I was so devastated!!!
Who wouldn't be? Alex was a front-runner in the competition (IMO). Plus he's really humble and grounded which would make anyone love this guy.
Skill+Character+Personality=A++++ Here's that hiphop routine he perfomed with Twitch and choreographed by Nappytabs, a week before the injury:
(Almost all videos of this routine on Youtube have embedding disabled. Just click the link. Sorry)
Mind you, Alex was a former principal soloist with the Miami City Ballet. So for him to dance so completely well outside of his element, as Alex said, speaks highly of him.
Alex definitely won a lot of fans because during the Finale show, somebody tried to recreate that Hiphop routine to pay tribute to him. Who else but Ellen Degeneres!
Are you hoping for Alex's return for Season 8? I am. =)

The Adjustment Bureau
Wednesday, March 23, 2011
Hello Dahlings!
SPOILER ALERT!!! (You have been warned so don't hate me.)
Today, I went job-hunting again. I also had to pass by my old office and drop some items to my friend. She was late for our appointment so I decided to see a movie first to kill time. I really didn't have any film in mind plus I wasn't really updated with the latest releases. Looking from the list I saw the film "Adjustment Bureau".
Since Matt Damon was in it, I figured, "You can never go wrong with Matt Damon unless it was 'The Happening'." (Sorry, I just didnt like [that] movie)
Lo, and behold! I was right! I looooved this movie!!!!! Worth every penny and time spent. I found the story fresh. Okay, either it was fresh or I haven't been watching too many movies. I'm not going to give way too many spoilers because you need to watch this movie to judge for yourself.
Adjustment Bureau is actually a romantic film with a sci-fi/thriller twist loosely based from a short story written by Philip K. Dick called Adjustment Team . Also, do not be deceived by all the 'Wallstreet' looking men you see at the trailer. You will be surprised what roles they really play in this film.
There's this one scene I loved the most where the character named Thompson (Terence Stamp) gives David Norris (Matt Damon) a "lecture" about man's 'Free Will'. I am yet to look that up but I promise to post it at a later blog once I find it.=)
Go hit the cinemas and let me know what you think, foxes!

If I Didn't Love You - Tina Arena
Friday, March 18, 2011
Hello Dahlings!
I was going through Youtube looking for some music when I came across this live performance of If I Didn't Love You by Tina Arena.
It reminded me how much I loved this song and the album it came from. In fact, I bought a cassette tape of that album! Hmmm... I wonder where it is now?
Oh! It also reminded me how I used to have this as my "theme song" for my Ex a few years back. I was with the guy for 2 years and for most part, we were fighting like crazy. Like flying books and cups crazy! Hahahaha...
Yeah, I listen to melodramatic music. So what??? Hahaha....
Go visit her pages, foxes!
Are you a Tina Arena Fan too? Lemme know.

On CSI And Amber Alerts
Thursday, March 10, 2011
Hello Dahlings!!!!
I'm a big fan of CSI. I enjoy watching that show because you get to learn a lot of things. And although some may have been tweaked for the purposes of entertainment, some things they have on the show are factual.

Lets take for example the term "Amber Alert". As some of you may know, to announce an Amber Alert means the a child abduction has occured.
So why the term Amber Alert?
In 1996, 9-year-old Amber Hagerman was abducted and murdered in Arlington Texas. She was playing in the parking lot of an abandoned grocery store when a man sprinted to her and dragged her into his truck. Four days after she was abducted, Amber's corpse was found in a creek bed by a man who was walking his dog. Her killer was never found.

After this unfortunate event, sprung the launch of Amber Alert. Although this was derived from Hagerman's name, officially it has become a backronym for "America's Missing: Broadcasting Emergency Response"
Are you a CSI fan too? Let me know, foxes!

August Rush
Thursday, December 23, 2010
Still on movies. =)
I wanted to share with you this movie that was released in 2007 called August Rush.
It's a heart-warming story about a boy, who grew up in an orphanage, believing that his parents are still alive. The movie is about the boy's search for his parents and their love story as well. The movie also tells about once's love and passion for music.
If you like romance and music, you will love this movie like I did. =)
This is the first movie that ever gave me goose bumps - FOR REAL!
Falling Slowly
Hello Dahlings!!!
The first time I heard the song Falling Slowly was from So You Think You Can Dance Season 5. Stacey Tookie, who was orginally a choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance Canada, created a beautiful Contemporary Number for Karla Garcia and Jonathan Platero.
Here is a video of that routine:
I remember raving about this song for a while at Facebook. Then, someone told me that this song was actually from a movie called "Once". I don't know what happened but I kept forgetting looking this movie up. Then two days ago, while I was spending days over at my friend's house, she suggested that we watch this really nice movie. She was referring to "Once".
"Once" is the story of two musicians whose love for music brought them closer together. I will be talking more about this movie at a later blog.
I will however, post a video of Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, performing the song at the David Letterman Show :
Meanwhile, here is a music video of the song by Glen's band, The Frames:
This song just has beautiful written all over it. Whether expressed through dancing, singing, or used as a musical score for a movie.
It is no wonder that Falling Slowly won an Academy for Best Original Song.
What do you guys think? =)

Hello Dahlings!!!!
I know I haven't been keeping my promise. Trust me, as much as I want to keep you posted like 24 hours a day, I really have been very busy with a lot of things.
Well for one, I dont have any classes anymore. So I really haven't been training people at work. But Im really swamped with a lot of things thats been served on my plate.
Just to keep you in the know, I had a Lingerie Shoot last Saturday with 5 Photographers. Shoot ran for almost 5 hours, I think. It was tiring but it was worth it. =)
So lemme go ahead and share with you some of the Teaser Photos from one of the photographers that day Mr Andree Ian Dela Cruz.

Since I've been very busy lately, I haven't been able to post too many blogs. I have been getting a lot of request for entries such as "I AM A HEART BREAKER" and "THE ONLY WAY TO START LOVING ME IS TO STOP LOVING YOU".
So I decided to make Photo Blogs. More like Micro Essay Blogging if you will. Or Tumblr Photos but only its here.=P
And here is my first attempt.
Don't worry, I still plan on making essays that will hopefully touch your hearts again.
Click on the photo for a better read. =)
