Robert Pattinson Minus Twilight Hair Plus Hollywood Hair

Robert Pattinson, preferred by his fans to be called Edward Cullen, is now officially a part of Hollywood. He officially sports a shorter, typical Hollywood hair, crew type 'do.

Apparently this caused an uproar among his fans saying that they prefer (the way they prefer to call him Edward than Robert) his tousled Twilight hair.

Personally dahlings, I still love him anyway. :)

I am so proud and happy for Charice Pempengco. The girl earned and deserves her footing as of the moment. I love the fact the David Foster's face lights up at the slightest mention of her name. I think I turned Charice-haholic! Hahaha....

Womanizer is still the song of the moment for me, I'm sorry.

I just can't seem to knock this song out of my system, my dahlings!

Anyhoo, since I cant get enough of Womanizer, I'm always on the look out for anything and everything related to this track. As a result, as you may remember, helped me find David Choi and I featured him in an earlier blog.

And the hunt continues.

This time, meet Alex Bullon - choreographer.

If there's anything I got from my Mommy Dearest, its getting myself "self-taught" in most things I want to learn. Which works out well and badly sometimes. I was searching Youtube for "how to dance womanizer" and I did find a lot of awesome choreography and lot of crappy ones too.

But what impressed me with Alex is that his choreography doesn't make any guy dancing it look gay. NOW, don't get me wrong dahlings. I LOVE GAYS. If Bryanboy is third worlds' most glamorous and famous you-know-what. Then I'm probably third worlds' most loved Fag Hag. Hahahaha....

Blast From The Past

at a company summer outing

For some weeks now my friends and former co-workers, from my previous company, have been posting "back in the day pictures" online. Its quite a trip. :)

The hair and weight transformations, to name a few, brings out an air of nostalgia.

So, I did a little digging up myself. :)

Lo and behold. A picture of me and my former boss and good friend Dar doing what we do best - harassing my co-worker and good friend Kzel.

Notice the short 'do I was sporting back then? But even then, Ive always had my "signature skinny arms". Do my skinny arms look familiar to you? I'm sure you've seen my skinny arms somewhere. Hahaha..=D

Just look at the expression on my face and my boss' too! Classic. Even then, if I dare say, I have always been the notorious evil type. Bwahahaha..+D

The Spirit

Hello Dahlings!

From the same director who brought you the movies Sin City and wrote 300, comes another another comic adapation - The Spirit. Having said that Frank Miller is directing this film, you can expect the same "all green room production" for The Spirit.

The movie stars, Gabriel Macht as Denny Colt/The Spirit, Samuel L. Jackson as Octopus, Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss, Eva Mendes as Sand Saref and Sarah Paulson as Dr. Ellen Dolan.

More than the reviews of movie critics, I would like to know what Comic-Con patrons have to say about the movie. After all, who would better critique this movie than the Comic Fans themselves. So to all you Will Eisner fans, lemme know what you think about the movie, ok? To my dear dahlings who have no clue who Will Eisner, he is the writer-artist who created the said comic book. :)

I think both girls are EXTREMELY adorable but I'd have to say Sasha, the younger daughter, is my favorite. :)

Britney Is Back, Bitches!!!

I wasn't really a big Britney fan. But having to watch the life of this Pop Star unfold, I managed to have a soft spot for this woman. Her earlier "comebacks" might have been touted as disastrous, but her new song and video "Womanizer" might , as the critics would say, officially cement her comeback.

First released to radio stations worldwide on September 26, 2008, it was then released commercially in the United States on October 7, 2008 through digital distribution. It will be available as a CD single on November 1, 2008 in Australia, November 14, 2008 in Germany, and on November 24, 2008 in the UK. So watch out!

Another living proof that she is back? Its as of this writing at number 1 at Billboard 100

Massive Attack + Newton Faulkner = Teardrop raised to LEGENDARY

Hello Dahlings!

Some of you may know this song from watching the hit Emmy Winning series, "House". I'm not gonna be a pretentious schmuck and say, "Oh yeah, I'm soo cool I learned about this because I looove music too much." Dahlings, I know I'm cool. But I'm not pretentious. I also learned about this song courtesy of that hit show.

I never got tired listening to this song. In fact this is my lullaby when I go to sleep. Its so relaxing to listen too!!! Here's their video:

I was browsing Youtube looking for covers of the song Teardrop. I'm really curious how people try to do a cover of this song. Some sing it just how Massive Attack rendered it while some try to use their own style to make it more "original" so to speak. And of course for both attempts there were the good ones and the bad ones. And so far, I think Newton Faulkner has the BEST cover.

Now, some of you guys might already have an idea who Newton Faulkner is. Unfortunately for me my dahlings, Ive only heard of him today. And I really mean today - TODAY. Like T-O-D-A-Y. You get the picture.

So here's what I scoured over the worldwide webby about Faulkner. This is from his official website:

Hello Dahlings!

Ive always thought that these games were full of bull. For one, the clamp has "fingers" wobblier than Jello. I mean, C'mon! Do you really expect that thing to grab anything that has something we call... weight??? Ive always tried playing this game at the arcade since I was a kid. And of course, I never won any. So I stopped at some point and told myself, Id rather play Time Crisis instead.





Last Saturday, my friends from work decided that we do our usually bonding session after a dreadful Friday Night shift. So there we were, sleepless and exhausted, but we still mustered the energy to cook some chicken adobo at Reg's house, go to Timezone at a nearby mall, and go window shopping. I was minding my own business at Timezone when suddenly I turned around and saw what I thought would never happen in my lifetime!

Reg caught a stuff toy! She got Piglet!!!!

And you know what's the best part, Dahlings? SHE GAVE IT TO ME!!!!!

"REACTABLES" - Now Available For Public Purchase!!!

Hello Dahlings!

As some of you know, one of my 6-month goal is to release my own track. Its definitely gonna be something electronica, I can assure you that. Right now, I have been devoting most of my time studying and researching. Im actually planning on studying piano. I need to know how to play at least one instrument or else Im gonna have a hard time laying out the melodies playing in my head if I have to ask someone else to do it for me, right?

And that's when I was reminded of REACTABLES. Ive actually heard of this years ago and was completely impressedt! Bjork (click here to watch the vid) has used it so that makes it cool. HA! =D

At that time, it still wasn't available for public purchase. But according to their MYSPACE page, it will now be available for sale at the latter part of 2008. THAT'S THIS YEAR, foxes!!!

Im so excited to see more of the REACTABLE! I want to see who among the most sought after DJs/Artists will use it. Or learn how to use it first for that matter. It does look a lil complicated to use.. But who cares??? Its got AWESOME written all over it!

I know most likely it will be expensive but DAMN! I would love to have it!!!

I Badly Need A Perm!!!!

Hello Dahlings!

I did previously tell you my dahling foxes that Im getting a perm. I still havent.

Instead I ended up getting a haircut at Toni and Jackey (the ONLY place I trust for cutting my precious mane) located at West of Ayala Building, Makati. "Chris" gave me full bangs, fixed my layers and basically cut my hair a tad bit short to get rid of the dryness.

My hair's looks can be deceiving. It looks so shiny, thin and healthy. And its nice to touch too! But once you brush it - WHAT THE F**K???? It feels like my comb's brushing a tangled shit tzu's coat (true story). Even my ever trusted L'Oreal Elseve can only do so much. Its like my hair's respirator. Helping it survive from a bad coma.

I wanted to get some treatment but the girl from the salon said, I should get a perm first before I take any treaments. Or else, when I try to get a perm, my hair will just lay straight. Dahlings, you have no idea how stubbornly straight my hair is.

So, there I was. I went on with my life.

Rant - Chuck Palahniuk

Hello Dahlings!

I loved, love and will keep loving Fight Club. Ive always had a big crush on Edward Norton so that was a big plus. It was like A++ kind of plus. I think you get the picture. The movie was just Legen-...wait for it -dary! Yes! Ive been bitten by the Barney Stinson bug. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go to How I Met Your Mother (i love this series!) I will talk about Barney in a different blog entry. For now, its all about Chuck Palahniuk.

CHUCK PALAHNIUK

So back in the day, I had totally no clue that Fight Club was based from a novel written by Chuck Palahniuk. I think this was four years ago, 2004, when I met this girl and told me all about it. She started telling me about Palahniuk and the novels she have read. Taking from her testimonial and how I looooved Fight Club, I went and got a copy of Diary.

Never finished it.

Looking at the timeline, Ive had this book for 4 years already but never finished it. I think Ive read the first few chapters hundreds of times because I had to start at the very beginning to remember how the story started. I caught myself bored at the book and it just felt that the story never really picked up steam.

Now for the second time around, Im trying another Palahniuk paperback titled RANT. So far, so good. Ive been reading reviews online and so far they have been kind and good.

I'll let you know once I finish the book if its another Diary or if its another Fight Club.
